Many factors may be responsible for procrastination. To begin with, the task people are involved in seems too difficult to complete. Besides, due to an overconfidence in their abilities, people often fail to manage their time efficiently. Moreover, an individual may also choose to procrastinate because the job is not challenging enough. Procrastination has negative effects on our life, such as causing stress and anxiety, leading to health problem, impeding our ability to achieve our goal and so on.

So it's absolutely necessary for us to take action to beat it. Firstly, we can write down our tasks in a visible place with their due dates.
