Chinanews, Shanghai, Apr. 24 – Zhong Nanshan, director of Chinese Medical Association (CMA), and other experts from CMA said that there are at least 20 million asthma patients in China, and only 6% of them have received formal medical treatment.They made this statement at on a forum specially launched on the International Asthma Day. They also pointed out that doctors should evaluate and monitor asthma patients properly as a way to control such disease.A publicity activity on preventing asthma will also be held on May 1, and experts from nearly a thousand hospitals nationwide will participate in it.
